  2. Just discovered your website on Saturday. It's of interest to me because I have a lot of the stuff. However, you have some incredible extra items and this Gene Clark track (and the stunning photographs of the record labels) is something I've been looking for for many years. All I need now is to find another seven websites for the rest of the tracks. Many thanks for this tantalising gift.

  3. Wow. What a wonderful surprise. Thanks so much for at least temporarily changing your mind about posting new material. You've given us a piece of the Holy Grail! Tell us more about how the cat came out of the bag.

  4. Andrew Sandoval played it on his radio show COME TO THE SUNSHINE on 1/31/11. But he did not play the complete track. This is missing more than a minute. I love the cryptic lyrics, the tempo changes, the strings, and Gene's use of falsetto. Thanks for sharing, even if it is incomplete. It is more than most of us have heard!

  16. I know your blog is coming down soon. I want to thank you for having had it, and giving us access to all these great recordings.I have myself, a large collection of uncirculated Byrds family tapes I recorded around the Boston/ Providence area.( the Byrds Dean College tape was one of mine).I would be willing to trade some of these for a copy of Gene Clark Sings For You". Just let me know. If not, thanks again for the blog. I personally will be sorry to see it go.
    All the best,
    David

Glad to see you grabbed some of my stuff from BB. I was going to offer it to you, but you were taking your site down, and somehow I got connected with BB.As long as the music gets shared that's all that matters anyhow. Hope I have some stuff you don't so you can add to your collection. He's got quite a bit of stuff I sent him he hasn't yet posted, and I'll be sending him more as time goes on. Stay tuned!
