Gene Clark’s 20th Year Anniversary Tribute To The Byrds – Fort Worth 1985

Gene Clark’s 20th Year Anniversary Tribute To The Byrds – Fort Worth 1985

Will Roger Auditorium, Fort Worth, Texas – May 5, 1985

Gene Clark - guitar, vocals

Michael Clarke – drums

John York – guitar, vocals

Rick Roberts - guitar, vocals

Richard Manuel - piano, vocals

Rick Danko - guitar, vocals

Blondie Chaplin - guitar, vocals

Carlos Bernal - bass, vocals

Incredibly, “new” Gene Clark concerts keep surfacing from time to time - this one, 36 years after it was performed and recorded.

Another one that was sent in by a visitor. It seems to originate from TD; thanks to the taper and the original uploader and poster.

Audience recording; don’t expect Hi-Fi!

I used Audacity to level, clean and balance the audio files.

Artwork is mine. Pictured on the front cover (left to right) are Rick Roberts, Carlos Bernal, Gene Clark…and John York’s arm, leg and guitar neck.

  3. Great site! Thank you for all the rare Byrds. I see other sites with thousands of hits & no comments, so I don't think you're alone in the under appreciation club.
