John York – Live At CMAC 2014

Communitive Media Access Collaborative, Fresno, Ca – April 4, 2017

John York Foley (born 1946) replaced Chris Hillman as the bass player in The Byrds. But he did have a career before that, and also after he left them. He stills writes and performs today, as a solo artist, as well as in a duo with Barry McGuire and in a trio as The Jangle Brothers with Chad Watson and Billy Darnell.

  2. Thanks!
I am looking for Byrds shows with John York, got the following:

    1968-11-02 Avalon ~69 minutes

    1969-05-09 Kingston ~66 minutes = from you ;-)

1969-06-15 Fillmore West "Lee Jeans.." only one track: Jesus is Just Alright

1969-08-11/12/13? Boston Tea Party ~88 minutes
This is listed in most cases as 1969-02-22
but because there's also a high quality broadcast tape of a Colosseum show in circulation,
the August dates are more probable? Colosseum and the Byrds were on the same bill in Boston in August...

can you please tell me, if there are more concerts available and which ones?
Better still, maybe you could up them here?
