Interest

Seems everyone has lost interest in this blog, except me.

I won't be able to continue just for my own pleasure.

  1. I think things changes when you dangled "Gene Clark Sings For You", then did not give access to it. Don't get me wrong, I check you out all the time, and have gotten a great present from you since and told you of my appreciation, but I don't get why that one thing is not accessable. What I also don't get is why there is not more demand for it from the mainstream music press. Don't they know about Gene? Where is the demand? They should be outraged that it not accessable, for historic purposes, at least. What's the point of having something that no one else can hear? Sure, the original hard copy is awe-inspiring and a great treasure, but why can't we hear it? I love Gene and want to hear it before I die. I realize my music taste is severely biased towards the sixties, but I can't think of anything or anyone recorded and unreleased that is more intriguing -not the Beatles, not Dylan, forget the Stones-no one, surely no one in the last 40 years. Gene is the most underrated songwriter ever. And probably the greatest.I don't expect you to post this comment, and if you do, I won't be offended if you edit as you wish. You are still the best, despite it all!

  2. So I "dangled" Gene Clark Sings For You? No, I just gave away what I was permitted to. Maybe I'm of the old-fashioned kind, but I respect the promise I made not to circulate it in its entirety. Sorry if some people were offended by that.
