ReplyDeleteAlways Thanks,RB
ReplyDeleteBest wishes for Christmas and the New Year, and thanks for all the good stuff you've shared in 2013!!
ReplyDeleteOn listening more closely, I wonder if the date and venue may be very slightly wrong. At the end of track 1 Roger refers to a performance by Bo Diddley which was, possibly, immediately before The Byrds. (I've read one reminiscence on the web which says that Bo Diddley joined them on stage but I haven't found that in this recording). So was this show in fact at Ringer Playground and on the previous day, 27 July?
ReplyDeleteRetracting last comment ... it seems that Bo Diddley played at Summerthing on both 27 and 28 July, so the latter date could well be correct. Sorry!
