Gene Clark – Aldershot, Hampshire 1985
Aldershot, Hampshire, England, U.K. – March 21, 1985
This one does not come from
our “new source”. Recorded during Gene’s tour of England and Wales in March /
April 1985, it was lying in Rocking-Byrd’s cassette tapes collection, almost
forgotten. It hasn’t circulated a lot; actually, I haven’t seen it published
anywhere since I got it in a tape exchange in the late eighties. Enjoy.
Coming from the same tour are
Gene’s performances in Birmingham, Loughborough and Brighton (England), which
HAVE been published here. Gene opened for Lindisfarne on this tour.

ReplyDeleteThanks so much for this...I really like the set list Gene used. He had so much of his material to choose from, I wish he didn't do so much Dylan...at least he does Dylan well...great version of "Tried So Hard"!
DeleteThank you so much RB for the load. It's a very nice gig, very subtle. Also thanks for the additional info.
