ReplyDeleteThanks very much for filling this "B Bender" request as well as my FBB requests. Much appreciated. As always, thanks for ALL the great shows.
ReplyDeleteAfter exhaustive research, I finally found this information from Rob Warford himself. Hope this helps.
ReplyDeleteMr.Bob Warford talks about this impossibly rare 7’’ vinyl 33 rpm promo record as follows.
"..., as to the Instruction record, I noted that both sides of that are on YouTube. Side A is with Gene Parsons – that is the one with a bit of Buckaroo on it, and Side B is with Robb Strandlund.
The instruction part with Gene Parsons was recorded by Gene at his home in Fort Bragg, California, in late February or early March, 1977. The side with Robb Strandlund was recorded at Robb’s house in Pomona, California, a few weeks later.

Also about this photo he told us.
"The photo of me with Gene Parsons on one of the links you sent was actually taken in April, 1990, when Gene and I were playing in Big Sur, California, with Mike Beck – a very good singer and b-bender player in his own right."
