Various
Artists – Country Rock Festival – Philadelphia 1973
Tower
Theatre, Philadelphia – June 1973
"Warner
Bros. Records" set up a mini-tour which was billed as a
"country-rock festival" package. The all-day, all-night affair consisted of Gram Parsons, Emmylou Harris,
Gene Parsons, Clarence White, Roland White, Eric White Jr., James Burton, some
members of Country Gazette, Sneaky Pete Kleinow and Chris Ethridge - all of
whom had signed record contracts with "Warner Bros". There were two
test shows on the East Coast in June 1973, which got fantastic critics. One in
Annapolis, Maryland and then another in Philadelphia (this concert).
Warner
Brothers intended to extend it to a world tour, but the project collapsed due
to Gram Parsons’ and Clarence White’s deaths.
This was
the last known public performance given by Gram Parsons.

Some sources say that the concert lasted approximately 3
hours! So this is just a 43 minutes excerpt, mostly focused on Gram Parsons.
Don’t expect excellent audio quality!
There is a poor quality silent film with excerpts of the
concert. Here’s a clip made by Thomas Aubrunner with music from the concert
added.
