Judy Roderick featuring David Crosby - Hootenanny At The Attic 1961-1962

Judy Roderick featuring David Crosby

Hootenanny At The Attic 1961-1962

The earliest known David Crosby live recording.

From Byrds Flyght :

This is a true find. It's been recorded in fine quality from the audience. Crosby's song differs much from the style of the rest of the set, and sounds very similar to the quiter songs of years later, such as 'Guinevere' for instance. It's undocumented, not in Rogan's book or in the detailed discographies on the CSN websites. David Crosby was recently directly asked about this, but he doesn't remember anything about it. Sounds familiar, as he also once denied having written or recorded a song called Psychodrama City, which later appeared on Byrds rarities CDs. Apparently, the tape was found by Judy's sister after Judy died in 1994.
